Rice processing in Rio Blanco
Rice production is to begin in 2018, The Women’s Agricultural Production Cooperative of Rio Blanco has developed a business plan to create economic empowerment for the cooperative with a new rice processing facility. This facility will guarantee employment for its members and promote self-sustainability. They have the necessary equipment and infrastructure with a business plan for the development of the project. $2500 is needed for the purchase of rice for the initial start up.
